Welcome to Hoboken - Part one!

SECOND TIME I MADE THIS E-MAIL AS THE COMPUTER TO CRAPPING OUT ON ME!
Most of you watch the news this week and the big story was the Hoboken crash. I took a trip to New Jersey back in 2014 with my son-in-law Kent,
and my buddy Burt and we visited the terminal while we were there for football. Here is what it looks like from the water side of the terminal when we
toured the New York Harbor as tourists and as you can see it's a very impressive building with 5 ferry platforms that for decades carried people and
cars across the Hudson River to New York City. The green color is copper metal that has oxidized over the years. The station used to belong to the
Delaware and Lackawanna Railroad, now NJTransit. Trains bring them in and the subway to NYC takes them under the river. Plus the water taxis!

The inside is fabulous as old stations go. The lead train control car came into this room from the left of
this photo.

This is a nearly identical shot the I saw the locomotive in the news looking out towards the tracks
from the station waiting room.
